These terms apply to every order placed on axonmodelco.com. Placing an order means accepting them.

The contract is formed when we send the dispatch email, not when you place the order. Until then, either of us can cancel and nothing is owed.

All prices are shown and charged in US Dollars (USD). Every price shown on the site is the price charged.

Sales tax is calculated at checkout, shown before you submit, and added where we are required to collect it.

Prices can change without notice, but never on an order already placed. If a price is wrong through an obvious error we will contact you before charging, and you can confirm or cancel.

Any promotion states its own end date, its own conditions and the products it covers on the page where it is offered. If none is stated, it applies to everything in stock and runs until we say otherwise.

One promotion code per order; codes do not stack. A code cannot be applied after an order is placed.

The free-shipping threshold of $75 is calculated after any discount is applied.

If a promotional order is returned, the refund is the amount actually paid, not the pre-discount price.

Stock figures on the site are accurate at the time the page loads and can be wrong by the time you check out. If something is unavailable after you have paid we refund that line in full within one business day and ship the rest.

Items marked low stock are the last few of that run. Parts are bought in batches, and a batch that has sold out may return with a different molded date code or a slightly different label; the specification on the page is what is guaranteed, not the packaging.

Every product page states what the tool fits: blade profile and handle collet, file tang diameter, jaw opening, mat thickness, rule graduation. Those figures are what the sale is made against.

We cannot know what is already on your bench unless you tell us. If you are unsure, email orders@axonmodelco.com describing it before ordering and we will check it. If a tool still turns out not to mate, it is returnable unused under the returns policy at no cost to you.

Nothing on this site is sold as a substitute for a manufacturer's own torque or service specification. Where the part in your hand carries a figure that differs from ours, use the one on the part.

Every specification on this site — composition, fitment, dimensions, weight, service life, origin — is measured or taken from the manufacturing spec rather than estimated, and stated in the units it was measured in.

Edge-life figures are ranges observed in ordinary use, not warranties. A range is given precisely because how long a tool lasts depends on what you cut with it, how hard you press and how it is stored, all of which are outside our control. The wear check published alongside each range is the authoritative test, not the count.

Everything sold here is a hand tool or a bench consumable for scale model making and similar close work. It is sold to be used by hand at a bench, and nothing more than that is claimed for any of it.

We do not sell model kits, paints, thinners, adhesives or primers, and nothing here is a liquid. No tool on this site is rated for use in a powered or rotary machine, and putting a hand file or a blade into one is outside every specification here.

Some items here have working edges or fine points. The nipper bevel, the file teeth and the divider points will all mark skin if they are handled carelessly, and the nippers are supplied with a jaw guard for that reason. None of it is a toy and none of it is intended for children. We do not sell knives, loose blades, saws or scribers at all.

Our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it. That does not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

We are not liable for damage caused by a part fitted outside the fitment and torque guidance published on its own product page, or fitted to a vehicle it is not specified for.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, United States, and the courts of that state have exclusive jurisdiction.

Returns and anything about an order go through email - we authorise the return and send a prepaid label, so there is never anything to post to us unprompted.
